*** Special Note to potential tenants *** - Please be aware there is a continuing scam on Craig's List and other web sites that allow the internet community to place personal ads. A thief can take a photo and description from a legitimate rental or real estate web site and create a dummy email ( usually yahoo, gmail, or hotmail ) with part of the property manager or Realtor's name to solicit rental of the property. Usually offering it at a "too good to be true" monthly rental and requesting you send them a money order immediately to hold the property until they can complete the application and lease. A legitimate rental company or property manager does not request a deposit prior to application, nor should they do a lease for a tenant sight unseen.
